Privacy
Privacy wasn't added to Xyova. It was built in from the first line of code.
The short version
- Zero student names, ever. Students appear only as "Student 1 / Student 2". Spoken student names in a transcript are scrubbed before a report leaves the platform.
- Recording only with consent. Every lesson is recorded with school and teacher consent. See our consent page.
- Login-gated. Reports are never exposed on public URLs. Access is restricted and verified.
- Teacher names are masked in shared evaluation material unless the account owner decides otherwise for a specific audience.
Who we are
Xyova is a teacher-evaluation platform, a product of Mishkat Quantum Lab. For any privacy question, contact demo@xyova.com.
Information we collect
- Website enquiries: the details you submit via our demo request form: name, role, organisation, email, country and any message.
- Lesson audio & transcripts: classroom audio you upload, and the transcripts and reports generated from it.
- Account & usage data: information needed to operate secure, login-gated access.
How we use it
- To evaluate lessons and produce reports for the school that submitted them.
- To operate, secure and improve the platform.
- To respond to enquiries and arrange demos.
How reports protect people
Reports are designed to protect the individuals in the room. Students are never named. Teacher identities are masked in shared material by default. Scores the system is unsure about are routed to a human rather than published automatically.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data is processed to deliver the service, and shared only with the school that owns the evaluation and with service providers who help us operate the platform under appropriate safeguards.
Storage, retention & location
Audio storage location, retention periods and cross-border data-flow terms are being finalised and will be stated here before launch. Schools can request deletion of their data.
Your choices & rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal data. To make a request, contact demo@xyova.com.
Changes
We'll post any updates on this page with a revised effective date.
